Gaiaganic Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide at 3% strength is completely non-toxic, containing no preservatives, stabilisers or additives. The chemical composition of Hydroden Peroxide is: H2O2. It’s made of only 2 ingredients water and oxygen. It is endogenous, or another way of saying ‘made by our bodies’. In fact our bodies produce white blood cells called neutrophils and these manufacture peroxide to fight foreign invaders like bacteria and viruses to keep you healthy. It’s also found in colostrum and breastmilk, fruit and vegetables, and rain and snow. Sunlight and air breakdown hydrogen peroxide, which is why it’s sold in brown bottles that need to be kept tightly sealed. Peroxide doesn’t have a use by date because it doesn’t spoil, it simply weakens or breaks down to water and oxygen over time. But it will last for years and years if stored correctly,losing < 1% strength per year. Some of the many Uses for 3% Hydrogen Peroxide: Acne – Dab pimples with peroxide using a cotton ball or use as an all over facial toner. Armpit stains – Clean and deodorise clothes by spraying liberally with peroxide. * Test for colour fastness. Bathroom – Spray baths, taps, sinks, toilets, showers, etc. to disinfect. Blood Stains – Spray peroxide on the spot and let it sit for a few minutes. Then rub and rinse with cold water. * Test for colour fastness first. Boils – add ½ cup peroxide to your bath and soak for 30 minutes Canker Sores – Rinse your mouth with 15 mL of peroxide for 10 minutes. Colds – Reduce severity by putting a few drops of peroxide in your ear, when the bubbling stops (5-10 minutes), drain onto a tissue. Repeat for the other ear. Colonic – Add 250 mL of peroxide to 5 gallons of warm water. Contact Lenses – Soak lenses in 50/50 peroxide and sterile saline. Rinse completely with saline before inserting lenses into eye. Corns and Calluses – Soften by soaking feet in a solution made of equal parts water and peroxide. Counter tops – Spray liberally with peroxide and allow to dry. Cuts – Reduce chance of infection by cleaning with peroxide. Cutting Board – After normal washing, spray it with peroxide and allow to dry. Dishcloths and sponges – Soak for 30 minutes in 50/50 peroxide and water. Detox Bath – Add up to 1 litre of peroxide to your bath water. Soak for at least a ½ hour. Ear Infections – Place 6-8 drops in the affected ear. Ear Wax – Add a couple of drops of warm olive oil followed by a couple of drops of peroxide. Sit with head tilted for several minutes and then flush the ear with warm water. Enema – Add 30 mL of peroxide to 1 litre of water. Finger Nails – Whiten by soaking a cotton ball with peroxide and rubbing on your nails. Foot Fungus – Spray a peroxide on the affected area morning and night or soak feet in warm water and peroxide diluted to 50/50. Fruits and Vegetables – Spray fruits and veggies liberally with peroxide to prolong freshness and neutralise pesticides and chemicals. Or soak in a sink full of cold water and 1 cup of peroxide for 20-30 minutes. Grout – Whiten by spraying a generous amount of peroxide on dry grout. Let it sit for 1-2 hours and scrub the area with an old toothbrush and some warm soapy water. Hair – Gradually give your hair highlights by spraying peroxide on wet hair. Comb and dry. Herpes – Apply to affected area 3 times per day. Infections – Soak the infected area in peroxide for 5-10 minutes several times a day. Mites – Spray affected area with peroxide to kill mites and other parasites. Mould – Control growth and clean the area by spraying regularly with peroxide. Mouthwash – Use in place of regular mouthwash. Dilute with up to two parts water. Mirrors – Spray mirrors and widows with peroxide and wipe with a paper towel or newspaper. Plants – Improve their root system by watering them with a mixture of 32 parts water and 1 part peroxide. Refrigerator – Disinfect by spraying the interior with peroxide and wipe with a clean cloth. Seeds – Soak seeds overnight in a mixture of 30 mL of peroxide and 2 cups of water to assist sprouting. Sinus Infection – Relieve by adding one 10 mL of peroxide to 10 mL non-chlorinated water. Use as a nasal spray or in Neti pot. Teeth – Whiten by rinsing with 10 -15 mL of peroxide for 10 minutes twice daily. Dilute if necessary. Tile – Remove stains by making a thick paste using flour and peroxide. Apply the mixture to the stain, cover with plastic wrap and allow to stand overnight. Toothache – Relieve pain by holding 25 mL of peroxide in your mouth for 10 minutes, 3 times per day. Toothbrush – Kill germs by soaking your toothbrush in peroxide. Toothpaste – Make a paste using peroxide and baking soda. Wine – Neutralise preservatives by adding 1-2 drops of peroxide to each glass. Wine Stain – Remove by mixing equal parts peroxide and liquid detergent. Pour the mixture over the stain. With a clean cloth blot the stain and wash with warm water. Yeast Infections – Add 10mL of peroxide and 2 cups water to make a douche. Use weekly.
